The TPB webinar held last week did not announce any changes or insights to clarify the new Code requirements.
It did not impact the pathway My CPE has chosen for the compliance quality management system (QMS), education and resources.
We will be announcing our Code Compliance resources soon.
We do note that the TPB has published an opportunity for consultation for registered practitioners to have their say. This ends on 3rd September 2024 and may lead to further decisions and guidance regarding the new compliance requirements, which we will incorporate into our Compliance resources as and when they are announced.
We are continuing to monitor announcements and working to provide products and services that will greatly simplify the effort that BAS/Tax Agents will endure in their quest to comply.
