This Skill Set addresses the skills, knowledge and performance requirements to promote diversity awareness in the workplace including promoting innovation in a team environment, leading a diverse workforce and being an ideal mentor. The Skill Set applies to supervisors, team leaders, new and emerging managers who lead within a diverse workforce environment and exercise discretion and autonomy within a structured business context.
The program is ideal for individuals newly promoted to the position of supervisor, leading hand or team leader, those aiming for career progression or small business owners.
The Skill Set comprises three (3) units of competency:

The Skill Set applies to supervisors, team leaders, new and emerging managers who lead within a diverse workforce environment and exercise discretion and autonomy within a structured business context.
Licensing/Regulatory Information
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this skill set.On successful completion of this course, you will gain a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment from the Institute of Strategic Management Pty Ltd (RTO ID 91485) and earn 9 CPE hours.

There are no formal requirements applicable to enrolling in the course. Applicants must however demonstrate they meet the requirements listed below:
• At least 18 years of age at the time of enrolment
• Access to a computer and internet connection
• Good language, literacy & numeracy skills.

A Certificate IV level program with the following learning outcomes:
Breadth, depth and complexity of knowledge and competencies would cover a broad range of varied activities or application in a wider variety of contexts most of which are complex and non-routine. Participants should display leadership and guidance when organising activities of self and others as well as contributing to technical solutions of a non-routine or contingency nature.Performance of a broad range of skilled applications including the requirement to evaluate and analyse current practices, develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices and provision of some leadership and guidance to others in the application and planning of the skills. Applications involve responsibility for, and limited organisation of, others.
Competencies should enable participant’s with this qualification to:
• Demonstrate understanding of a broad knowledge base incorporating some theoretical concepts
• Apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems
• Identify and apply skill and knowledge areas to a wide variety of contexts, with depth in some areas
• Identify, analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources
